What and experience! I have always loved hummingbirds and commented to our cousin Paul that I had been trying to photograph one in my garden and then at Central Gardens but with no luck. He states that he has lots at his house and to come on out! I was in awe at the beauty! Photographed many the 1st day then returned 2 days later to take a friend. I took a few on that visit but really enjoyed just watching how close they would zip by, within a foot or less at times. The hum of their wings was so neat, also got to hear their little chirp. A memory I will cherish for a long time to come...thanks so much, Paul, for sharing them with me.
