What are our words truly saying? Are they honest, or misleading? Are we spreading love or spewing hate? We can not preach a God of love, & then spew hatred from our mouths on every turn. We appease ourselves by calling it setting a standard. We ARE called to know the Word, what it says, & live accordingly. But when we annihilate others with our words, stares & judgements, we do not represent God in doing so. He ran to the dejected, castout, broken, & sinful. The same ones we murder with our tongues. We are deceived. We need not condone sin in order to love all sinners. That has never been necessary. Before we, as professing Christians, let one more hate-filled post, opinion, or correction fall through our lips, I encourage that we look at the TRUE effect that our actions and/or statements have on those who need Him most. It is shameful. NO one among us is qualified to stand in judgement. What separates us is, some remember that we are in no way capable of judgement. Others do not. It was recently said that No one drives people away from Christianity quite like Christians. That is tragic.
