What are peoples views on Dog mess.... A major issue of concern is the problem of dog fouling. I think I am correct in saying that Todmorden is becoming a cleaner place now that people are becoming more aware that it is their responsibility to clean up after their pets, and I think they should be applauded, however there are many people who still allow their dogs loose in the park and do not pick up after them. These dogs are often not on a lead and become a nuisance to other people who are enjoying the park. The Calderdale Council’s dog warden is issuing fines and Calderdale are now sending out a clear message: Pick up or Pay up. It is every owner’s duty to clean up after their dog. There are no excuses. Dog fouling and not being in control of pets is unacceptable.
