What are the steps which we need to take? And when should we take it? – Very confused questions as you didn’t know what we are talking about! – Soon you will know. In the middles east especially Egypt most of the students after graduation are searching for doing their CV and knowing more information about how to pass interview and to how act and perform, employment problem starts from that point let’s see how. Very important question you need to ask yourself what are the standards steps you need to follow to be able to be qualified after graduation Starting with the self assessment: in west (US,….ect) for whom is graduated from high school and he/she is preparing her/him self for the college, he has to pass test called SAT to see if his/her abilities are matching to the college where he/she can be successful, as we don’t have this kind of test in Egypt and acceptance in college depends on score which he/she has gained, then after joining the college here what he might find that he/she doesn’t love this major and he needs to change it, so he will search for another opportunity beside the college to work in his/her lovely career, and some of them could pass his current one even he doesn’t love it and some of them fail many times because of the unrest circumstances which he created for himself as he chose this major as main major. Preparing for your CV: start doing community services, paid internship and work, attending courses and diploma in the major which you liked to work in, so you could find something to write in your resume, read article about how to write resume and what kind of resumes you need to choose to represent you, then start to practice doing interviews, you can do the interview at universities clubs, NGOs, Companies,..ect, you will be neither accepted or rejected both are fine and you’re gaining experiences. Searching for the preferred employers: you have done self assessment and now you know your strengths and weakness, and you started to gain experiences in your lovely career by (Internship, volunteering work,…ect), Now you know which field you’re going to work in, you still have one more step is searching for the employers who are working in the field which you want to work in. Finally; read about employer and try to find more information and see how can you add to the company ? Egypt: Here is what we are doing in Egypt, going to the college depending on our marks, if you’re lucky you will join major which you will be interested in and if you’re not! You will start to search for the interesting one, after finishing the university we start doing CV and know how to pass interview, then searching for jobs in our culture depends on connections and networks, finally starting salary in most of the company is miserable!
