What are the three times in Biblical history when many miracles - TopicsExpress

What are the three times in Biblical history when many miracles happened? Moses, Elijah-Elisha, and Jesus and His Apostles. Their ability to perform miracles was to authenticate the message given to them direct from God. Miracles are profound, spectacular, indisputable, and recognized by believers and unbelievers of such supernatural feats as Moses parting the Red Sea, Eliijah being caught up to heaven in a whirlwind (2Ki 2:11), Elisha smiting the Syrian army with blindness (2Ki 6:18). Jesus rose from the dead after 3 days and Paul raised the young boy who fell out of the window from the dead. Did miracles happen for all believers? NO. God in His Sovereignty does answer prayer and we considered it miraculous. But the extraordinary miracles of Moses, Elijah, Elisha, Jesus, Peter, and Paul were to authenticate and confirm their message. These miracles spanned a total of 200 years out of 6,000 to 11,000 years. The miracle of the New Birth should be enough today but sadly for many it is not enough. For most this is not enough. Is Jesus Christ sufficient? Is the completed revelation in Scripture enough to build your faith? Hebrews 1:1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds. The Holy Scriptures which reveal the Lord Jesus is enough. He is our first and second blessing. Stop seeking for more. We have all spiritual blessings in HIM by faith, now. youtube/watch?v=xa17IvdDRag&list=PLT-skSPbX2hMV2kKAPREGQagDfaipc279
