What are your thoughts on the new Mothers Milk Co-Op, the USs only paid milk donation program? Nursing mothers who would like to supply milk to the co-op must first apply for membership and complete donor screening. Applicants will be screened based upon a completed medical history form for pre-qualification and if approved, will complete a blood test. This process is to ensure the safety of the milk supply. There are significant costs associated with membership. Rather than charge a membership fee, we ask that 100 ounces of your milk donation be applied toward donor qualification expenses. This donation ensures that every nursing mother is able to participate. Donors may choose to Pay It Forward and gift their milk to a family in need or earn Milk Money through the only paid milk donation program in the United States. Membership gives nursing mothers a vote on co-op matters, eligibility for board seat nomination and the opportunity to receive an annual dividend payment based on their involvement in the co-op that year. mothersmilk.coop/
