What better way to spend the first night of Chanukah (and the 8th - TopicsExpress

What better way to spend the first night of Chanukah (and the 8th day prior to Christmas) than at Carnegie Hall for Not The Messiah (Hes A Very Naughty Boy!). The brainchild of Eric Idle (yes, the Monty Python Eric Idle), NTM(HAVNB) is an oratorio that follows, (very) roughly, the story from Monty Pythons Life of Brian. Mr. Idle, 4 operatic soloists, the Orchestra of St. Lukes and The Collegiate Chorale (my client and friend Kathryn Thompson is an alto and invited me) had the crowd laughing from start to finish. Im sure Andrew Carnegie, who was known as a humorless git, when he financed this amazing hall, could not quite have imagined this kind of Yuletide (or Chanukah-tide) concert taking place there. Too bloody bad! Maybe he couldve taken the advice offered by Mr. Idle in the finale that had the audience singing or whistling rhythmically...Always Look On The Bright Side of Life https://youtube/watch?v=SJUhlRoBL8M
