What breaks my heart about Robin Williams is that obviously he was dealing with a lot of pain and suffering within himself yet, for the better part of his 63 years, he helped so many to laugh the pain away via his quick-fire, brilliantly on-point wit, to escape into a world of hilarious and gorgeously simple absurdity. Its bizarre to think that such a f*cking cool person existed and ultimately felt that suicide was the only option left. The thing is: there may just be another such person standing right next to you. And you may be acting like an asshole - hateful, indignant, exploitive, prejudiced, inhuman, whatever the negative case may be - breaking down their beautiful but fragile spirit. That is why we must not judge; we must be kind; we must think of ourselves as part of one single organism/consciousness that only works if all the parts are healthy. If we treat the person standing right next to us with the reverence we are now bestowing on this precious soul (as we all are), we wouldnt take our lives to get to heaven because we would already be living in one. Be kind to yourself and to each other.
