What can we say about Call to Farms II other than: THANK YOU! Thank you to Antony and Tina at Soiled Reputation for the inspiration that your hard work, your fields and your bees provided us. Thank you to the other farmers, like Max and Vicki at Church Hill farm, and Erin and Sean at McIntosh Farms who rallied around us an donated their wonderful products to the event. Thanks to all the volunteers who came out to the farm in the weeks and days leading up to the event, especially Steve Walters, Chantelle Oliver, Andrew McLean and Alex OShea! Thanks to Mikko Karttunen for his brilliant photography (check out more pics from the event on his Flickr page: bit.ly/1rqOfjr Thanks to Chris Lass at Wild Violet Pottery, her breathtaking honey pots were the perfect vehicle for Soiled Reputation organic honey! Thanks to Block 3 Brewery, Black Swan Brewery and Rosewood Winery for providing delicious libations. Thanks to Karen Hartwick at Stratford Tea Leaves for her amazing foraged tea! Kept everyone warm on a chilly night! Thanks to Revel Caffe for delicious coffee that provided some early morning fuel on Sunday and Monday. Thanks to the Stratford Chef School for donating their amazing oven (it got a work out!) Thanks to Simon Brothers at Powerline Films for filming all the work and fun over the weekend. Thanks to Savour Stratford for donating some much needed kitchen equipment and plates! Thanks to Emm Gryner for an amazing performance in the barn, a beautiful way to start the night! Thanks to companies that helped us with supplies, like Pristine Gourmet, Flanagan Food Service and Edesia Fine Foods. MOST OF ALL: thanks to all who attended!! Without your support and enthusiasm, these events could not happen. Were very passionate about building the connections we all have to the great farms in Ontario and all the work they do to produce the food that keeps us alive. Hopefully you all learned a little and had a great time. We look forward to the future! Thanks!!!
