What can you do in 10 seconds? 10 seconds might seem too short a time for any more or less serious action. Not for Kirill Mamonov, a teenager from Belarus, who is able to solve Rubiks Cube puzzle in even a shorter timespan. At present Kirill solves the puzzle for the 3x3 cube in about 9.74 seconds. A little more than two minutes is required to lay down on the squares of a bigger 5x5 cube. Making the process so speedy, however, requires time and practice. At speedcubing competitions guys make it with their eyes closed, with one hand, and even feet. Build a blind way, the cube helps to train memory, says the boy. Speedcubing (also known as speedsolving) is the activity of solving a Rubiks Cube or related puzzle as quickly as possible. The current world record for a single solve of the 3×3×3 in competition is 5.55 seconds set during the Zonhoven Open 2013. #belarus #rubic #rubicscube #speedcubing Source: news.tut.by/kaleidoscope/388484.html
