What can you say, to have Gavins Ippon given and then taken away is an absolute shame, there is no doubt that the ippon should have stood in my opinion, Gavin started the action and kept control throughout, white landed on his back first, Ippon. Its a shame to have your chance taken away, I know that we referees only have a split second to make a decision but the action was all Gavins and can be seen in slow motion using the care system, this one will be debated long after the Commonwealths are over, a useful refereeing tool on how to determine a kaeshi waza, shame though
