Sandra’s Celestial Compass for the Week of December 8, 2014 By: Sandra Helton, PhD A Practical Attitude leads to a Positive Turning Point through Venus and the Last Quarter Moon A subtle influence is with the world as the Moon decreases in light and settles into a quieter and gentler time. Venus in Capricorn beginning Wednesday until January 3, 2015 softens situations at work and in your career. There is greater willingness to harmonize for the greater good. Many will want to refine their own energy as it manifests in a chosen career and also in the way that you present your public image. There is more allure and willingness to work with you. Governments will seem to want peace and corporations may display a softer side. Mercury will conjunct the Sun on Monday and on Friday it will trine Jupiter that holds promise for financial dealings and an ease of communication. Establishing a better work environment is preferred that will entail making adjustments and numerous small changes so that everything functions more efficiently, due in part to the Last Quarter Moon in Virgo. This lunar phase keeps you on track but in easy ways so that you can manage it all. Also this week, Jupiter in Leo goes Retrograde that returns you to a point of self-awareness and how to refine aspects of yourself that you feel is too much or that you want to harmonize. How, why, and where you invest your money and your interest is important and a prominent area for consideration, or reconsideration if you have already been structuring that area of your life. Social dynamics change or revert back in some ways to what was previously established. Reversals of commitments may be more common during this phase. If you have made big plans you may change your mind and shift everything considerably so that you have manageable circumstances. The week concludes with Venus and Neptune well aligned to each other. This ray brings in exceptional ability to be creative and inspired. Elements of something from a higher source are easy to acquire. Something special can be created that has a spark of the divine while love takes on an ideal and extraordinary hue.
