“What could I say to you that would be of value, except that perhaps you seek too much, that as a result of your seeking you cannot find.” ― Hermann Hesse, Siddhartha. And nowdays, when the word religion evokes thought of conflict & pain rather than of seeking & exploring. We are living in an era where its difficult to utter the word Hindu or Islam with love or respect and not get labelled as fanatics. In such tough times, it was a delight to experience Hindu Nectar: Spiritual Wanderings in India last evening. An experience for seekers who are still not able to figure out the head or tail of this existence; A reminder for those lost souls who still feels that there is a world beyond this cycle of birth & death; and overall a beautiful realization that - what a privilege it is to be born in this land which has answers for many such questions!!!! It has always been a humbling experience to be in company of monks & Fakirs. And last evening was another beautiful experience of this kind where its difficult to escape from truth of your mortality. I hope & pray that many more people who are still in the search of truth get to see this. I am indebted to Akanksha Damini for playing her part in creating n sharing this wonderful journey with us.
