What do u think of God!, could HE be some mythical figure, has science found God, or science is a liar, well I am befuddled, I guess you too . ok today lets unravel the mysterious world of religions and science so as to revolutionalise human understanding of creation and the different philosophical projections about the subject Imagination is known to externalize dreams while necessity being the mother of invention, yes..many people have invented things, when u look at the universe and the things that contain, u’ll realize that there’s some cosmic harmony, every aspect of life u reach leads u straight into understanding the other but if u’re not guided well by the benevolent intervention of your intuitive intellect (oba gayite amagezi amazaale), u’ll find yourself lost in a labyrinth of information we get everyday…. In order to get a comprehensive view between science and religions, we must travel thousands of years back into time and the journey takes us straight to creation land According to the available precepts from our holy books, there’s some unfathomable power behind creation and that’s God, for HE designed the world and the things that contain in just about 6days, and HE rested on the 7thday, this took place approximately 2000yrs ago While science has perhaps a very diversionary view regarding subject, postulating that the universe was born out of an explosion that happened 13billion years ago, in something they dubbed the ‘Big Bang’ and that after about 4.6billion years, the earth begun forming which took it approximately 150million years to cool down, the cooling effect emitted gas into the atmosphere, releasing water and oxygen, oxygen accumulated into the atmosphere giving rise to the first single celled organisms which were aquatic in nature i.e amoeba, plants too started growing and through times, evolutionary chain took charge. Now on the point of human creation in specific terms, religions offer a simple and somewhat universally accepted explanation per se, God created Adam, Adam was bored and lonely and God was quick at realizing it, as lonesome Adam was lost in the relish of his evening siesta, God used his celestial anaesthesia and removed one of Adams rib where HE molded a voluptuously curvy and compatible cute being (Eve) which was primarily supposed to amuse and entertain the handsome Adam but unfortunately, due to some unsavory events that exasperated God to HIS core, they both lost the privileges of enjoying themselves in garden of Eden……so in a nutshell, this marked genesis to the multiplication in no. of humankind Now blacks or people with colour find this explanation very inconclusive with a key discrepancy that Africans are not mentioned anywhere in the spheres of creation with the biblical or religious point of view Science was quick in rising to the occasion, capitalizing on the lacunae in the holy books with a relatively palatable rationalization to the cause of this anthropogenic disparity and the rainbow of people scattered around the world today Here is the explanation, after the formation of single celled organism then multi-cellular ones and evolution proceeded as time flew, gigantic creatures such as dinosaurs rose up, then ‘ homo’ Genus category and eventually ‘homo sapiens’ as human forms were formed too Science tries to expound its philosophy that the first ancestors of people were sited 4.5million years ago, fortunately from here in East Africa, and the cradle of man is estimated to be from around Turkana, or somewhere around Karamoja, so if u’re a person from these areas, its ok to gloat and bask in pride, becoz chances are that u’re the epitome to the original copy of human beings, u’re the direct link to our history and evolution of man…lol Oookk lets leave that, mbu from here humans multiplied, due to factors of environmental pressure, love for adventure, and continental drifting, they moved to the different places we find them today, now that’s why we have Asians, Africans, Arabs, Aborigines, Whites, Hispanics etc` But on the other hand, religion considers the above analogies to be a misleading conjecture that flouts every theological teaching and Charles Darwin(1809) was severely castigated for similar sentiments about the issue with his contentious arguments of natural selections, survival for the fittest bla bla bla.. Now science and religion seems to have stalemated on the issue of God and creation, they don’t happen to read from the same script over the matter, leaving us to bare the brunt of getting into a constant pandemonium, or may be, with God, it’s a matter of faith and belief while science remains inclined to empiricism…………whos telling the truth????????
