What do you do when their are three of you co-workers siting around, and see that you are being mistreated. A fellow fireman throwing your food in the trash, and saying now you eat that, and NO NOT ONE OF THEM STOOD UP TO SAY ANYTHING AGAINST THEIR FELLOW FIREMAN. What does it take for people (White) to stand up when someone of their race is wrong in so many ways. This Fireman was only suspended for three days for what he did, and written up the Fireman that this happen to was written up for not following protocol. The chain of command in which some of his superior were in the room when this happened. There are some GREAT FIREMEN in the City od Dublin but just like everywhere else those BAD APPLES HAVE JACK UP EVERYTHING EACH TIME. People of color we have to stand up each time things like this happens to one of us you must learn to go into each situation knowing that nothing last forever. Yes we need to work but there still needs to a line we do not let anyone cross YOU CAN NOT LET ANYONE SPIT, SLAP, KICK YOU, INSULT YOUR CHARACTER, OR INTEGRITY.
