What do you do when you are going to be away from home for Thanksgiving and Christmas??? Well......you spend Nov 12th decorating your house! I know it sounds strange but this is the only day when I could actually devote time to bringing in some Christmas Cheer - Complete with Christmas Music! - so it is done! Now granted - anyone who has Seen our home at Christmastime must understand that this year is Minimal. No lighted garland everywhere - no Christmas statuary - windmills - or little villages (to name a few things from the past!)...but it is Christmas all the same and it will be so nice to return after Thanksgiving and have it all done. Our dinner guests tonight will probably laugh their butts off - but oh well. I just hope our house/dog sitter (who does Not celebrate Holidays!) is able to garner a little bit of joy from his surroundings while here....
