What do you guys look for in a Smash stream? Besides of good - TopicsExpress

What do you guys look for in a Smash stream? Besides of good quality, say, no lag, HD, layouts and clear audio. This leads up to me wondering the following things: =Gameplay= - What type of gameplay do you like to see *Two players playing, and one person focusing only in the stream? *How about two players playing, and the streamer, commentating while playing. *Serious, focused gameplay with interaction after the matches? (Say in the period of time between one match and the other). =Interactivity= (Other than constantly paying attention to the chat) *Requests? Such as character, stages, modes and the like? *Giveaways? Like, controllers? *Online play? Net play? (I sadly dont have a powerful enough computer to do netplay, and PM/Brawl wifi is officially done, so its much less accessible) =Audio= (Other than quality stuff) *Do you guys like to hear the controllers? Or want this noise to be blocked? *Do you guys like it when the microphone is an environmental one, allowing everyone in the room to be heard (And controllers too), or prefer a personal microphone, where only can person can be heard? Pros and cons are varied, but the main thing is that a personal mic is less noisy, loud and can be controlled easier (During hype moments). =Style= *Do you guys like a stream catered to learning more about the game? Say, constant explanations, breakdowns and the like? *Or prefer a more entertainment oriented one. With a less serious style, with jokes, trash talk perhaps? Lots of hype and louder. *A mix of both? If so how? Whats a correct mix? =Layout= *Do you guys like player cams? *Do you guys like controller cams, or even, controller input cameras? (Think of Siglemics stream, where you can see an N64 controller with lights that represent how hes moving the controller, for example) Music *Do you guys like music at all during streams? Say, for example, muting the games soundtrack, and then playing music during the stream. If so, what style of music is a balanced/good one for most viewers? If too broad, and needs more variety, how would you suggest adding music in an effective way? =Schedule= *Whats a good time slot for you to watch streams, and what is your timezone? (Or area, for example, EC/WC/Europe) =LANGUAGE (IMPORTANT)= *I have fans in both English and Language. I understand that Twitch TV is an english based website, though, my questions are: *As an english speaker, are you ok if I randomly speak in english for a bit to spanish viewers? Does that bother you in any way? Why? Should I do only-english streams? Or have spanish/english days? *Combine them both during a stream? Why? =Games= I know Melee is awesome, however, Im trying to cater to everyone or most people, if possible. *Should I focus on only 1 game, or several, when streaming? (Say, Melee until Smash 4 comes out, then only Smash 4). *Or mix them up? Certain days Melee, others PM, others Brawl, until Smash 4? Have themed days? Any recommendations? *Should I play casual games from time to time? Say, random scary games late at night, more chill streams, etc? Or just Smash Brothers? If so, why? =Twitch Profile= *Take a look at my current profile. Is there anything I could change/add to make my profile better/more informative? *Do you like the current art design? Should I change? If so, what would you recommend? Similar art designs, following a theme. Or different designs for every panel. =Special events= *Organize/schedule hype stuff? Say, money matches, my classic CPU tournaments with prizes, or other cool stuff? What would you recommend? Reviews/Breakdowns *You like the idea of me having certain times during a stream (or days?) where what I do is watch a video (For example, one of my videos, a video of a top level match, or a match from a viewer) and break it down with AS MUCH detail as possible, constantly rewinding and analyzing every single detail. Hows that? =Finally= THANK YOU. For reading to this point, and helping me out with. I greatly appreciate this. My channel is: twitch.tv/gonzalo_zero Current schedule, starting July 21st, is: 10am-6PM EST mondays through fridays
