What do you say in a moment like this? Tomorrow (Sept. 3rd) will be a year that I received that call no parent wants to get about their kid. Mark called on his way to the hospital with Cheryl, letting me know Justin was in a bad accident and they werent sure what was going to happen but it wasnt good. I was always use to dropping everything and heading to a local hospital...but this time I was at a loss. Justin was/is in Florida there was nothing I could do...all I can remember saying is NO NO NO NO!!! Told them to call me as soon as they knew anything. I called Jamie home to tell her the news. Called my sister and mom!! All I could do is pray and wait ...pray and wait... it was a long night..a long week ...month and now its been a year....and I have no idea where this year went... I think I have only existed. Now after saying all of this... enough about me!! Its about Justin, Mark and Cheryl... everything they have been thru...day after day not knowing what is next...all they can do is hope and ask for help from all areas.... they have done so well with Justin and have been the ones to bring Justin to where he is today. Justin is improving slowly with such a long way to go. Justin is home... still has a trache but that gets capped off and he breathes room air on occasion. He moves his hands and feet when asked to ..I get videos of this occasionally. His main Guardian Angels are Mark and Cheryl..without them Justin would not be where he is today...and he is a fighter! The rest of the angels are everyone that has prayed...sent donations and asked about him thru out this year and I thank you for that. We appreciate your continued support as Justin makes his journey back to us.
