What do you think of a no fault system of compensating people for accidental injuries. New Zealand has a similar system already in place. Basically it would work like workers comp but for all manner of personal injury claims, slip-and-falls, auto accidents, etc. This would eliminate most tort lawsuits and also the need for liability insurance, thus saving consumers heaps of money in the form of premiums and legal fees.
