What do your teenage kids do on weekends? My kids are at Elevate CDO, where they have lots of fun, meet new friends, discover the concept of service and community, and, most importantly, learn about God. Here is a video of their P&W, taken by my middle child Mesoo, with my eldest, Lynn, as one of the singers. This is the high school group (they meet on Saturday afternoons, the college guys meet on Friday nights). Yeah, this is church--for teenagers. Also spotted in the video are their friends Summer Rain Bontuyan and Allyssa Corral, two young ladies that my eldest is also discipling. If you have teenagers, have them join! Theyre in the middle of their DEEP IMPACT series for November, where theyre taught and encouraged to make, well, a deep impact in their schools, families, and basically their whole environment.
