What does God say about OBSTACLES and OPPOSITION? When youre feeling threatened by a challenging situation...Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day. Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday...The Lord says, I will rescue those who love Me. I will protect those who trust in My Name. Psalm 91:5-6,14 I look up to the mountains--does my help come from there? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth! Psalm 121:1-2 When a sinful habit trips you up...Since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race that God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion Who initiates and perfects our faith. Heb. 12:1-2 When you fear you are losing the battle...Victory comes from You, O Lord. May you bless Your people. Psalm 3:8 When its time to face the enemy...Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on all of Gods armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.
