What does I am Afrika, I Arise or Afrika Arise mean: Wisdom is - TopicsExpress

What does I am Afrika, I Arise or Afrika Arise mean: Wisdom is the highest form intellectual interaction, being the ability to live in between extremes it allows for integration. It is through integration that intellect functions at its peak, hence wisdom. Life is complex and so in attempt to understand it man establish context, to discuss principle in its place and many of the conflicts we have are contextual more them being about the actual concept, hence today I want to invite you in a discourse that seeks to discuss leadership as in occurs in a society. This is not a theological nor political discourse (narrowed to principles applicable to this place) but a leadership discourse (a general integration of views, some according to their original context and others not). It is a stone casted toward the integration of facts and factors to perhaps attain wisdom that can help us build the continent. Now that we all in the same page lets begin by saying, Time is an endless evolution that is moving towards eternity, so history is a record of victory(outstanding ideas and action) that has contributed towards men attaining destiny. And so there is a close relation between the future and the past that is imperative to be understood for men to make life a series of significant ripple factor that attains the goal of living. Intelligence is the ability to predict the end from the beginning and such man who have used their faith to flow with the winds of Fate have shaped their lives and the lives of the people around them. If we die we still live as the evidence of what we existed for,if we like it or not we are part of a statistic that either create or confirm a particular truth. It is in seeking truth that the journey of maturity begins and in finding meaning that it pinnacles. We are Afrikans whether we like or not there is a truth we can create or one we can confirm, I am Afrika, I Arise is a conscious embrace of who we are and deliberate act of creating a truth that is fitting to our conviction. We want to declare our existence and be considered for what we believe. Time is a progressive expression that unfolds purpose, there has been attempts of Man and Woman who sought to revive and perhaps preserve the life of Afrika in its essence, though ignored their voices have continued to speak. Time has spoken of these efforts for they embodied purpose, history cannot be silent anymore but must be heard saying Afrika you were once great, you shall be great again. this is not a call out of bitterness and an appeal for segregation but a call to hear an articulation of lifes interpretation that uses Afrika as a reference. And such is what Afrika Arise is about, a call to assemble the continent to have global impact. Time is a tool of triumph or a weapon of terror: we cannot continue to be Man existing in an age we dont understand and a time we cannot influence. We must arrange ourselves in an ORDER that will create an atmosphere for us to thrive. Time masters possibility and season mothers opportunity, we live in a time where all the impossible is possible, there are several evidences in history that there is no eternal human sovereignty and with persistent effort revolution is inevitable. I believe then that we must pick the basic pillars that have built and hold the house that we see and use them to propagate the existence of Afrika. I have a suggestion of three historical pillars that I believe should be 1. Integrated to one vision, 2. Intellectualized to advocate Afrikaa aspiration and 3. Interpreted with consistency to our past and future history. There are three pillars that the world has never been at void of, in fact they and the world shape each other spontaneously,in fact one is not without the other. If we want to make our existence to have a global appeal, we must master these spheres. 1. Religion: many of our people are influenced by the pulpit and are subscribed to this pillar as member. Their entire world view is shaped by this pillar, 2. Politics: directly and indirectly the Parliament influences our people and they are called masses. And 3. Economics: the market place influences many of our people and here they are the market. These are aspects that carry the three influences of the world, their factor of function are, Morals for religion: Morals(what you believe determines how you behave) Might for Politics: Might(Where you belong determines what you become) and Money for Economics: Money(what you have determines what you can get) these pillars and their influences have always been in position and active on the world we see today. Of cause with the progress of time they have turned into sophisticated systems, yet in essence this is what the world is. The priest, the politician and the sales man must speak the same language, for if our morals are not intact we use our money trying to save the life we wasted we become valunrable to internal and external might. The church has a role to have our people hold a high moral standard, here we dont prescribe or promote any God but our view of an Afrikan religious system is that it made men to be of a high moral standard. Their consideration of how their life is connected to the next person made them take care of themselves as a gift to the next person. Therefore all religious practices in Afrika must present to us a healthy citizen(spiritually without hate but love, and physical for the body is a temple of the Lord). The Afrikan must believe in the future, yes even in eternity so that his life can be lived beyond immediate pleasure. The politician has a duty to restore power to the people, for a child is raised by a village, governance is a responsibility of all citizens. We must all be active in creating a society that we will be proud of. Politicians must give us Afrika as a home for it was taken from us and we remain foreigners in all parts of the world and so it is the responsibility of the politician that after the preacher teaches us to love God and one another that the politician teaches the love of our land, the value of life and leadership. And the sales man, exchange is a way to sustain life. We are in trade daily, the sales man must teachers how to buy the future the importance of investment and how it redeems times giving a person or race an upper hand in the future the sales man must change the instinct of an Afrikan from a consumer to a creator, he must pride himself for selling for us than selling to us. Yes even the market must begin to demand Afrika as trending goods and services. Id love to conclude this way; In the book Philosophy and Opinions of Marcus Garvey its written Every student of political science, every student of economics knows that every race can be saved through a solid industrial foundation, and that a race can be saved through political independence, take away industry from a race and take away political independence then all you have is slaves Id love to add, that theological students also recommend the presence of God, take away God and you have man a subject of his perversity, a respector or none and an exolter of self. A person ask how do we safe guide ourselves from systems wr create? By revolting to the System prescribed by history and resonates with our sociointellectual-Spiritual needs I am Afrika, I Arise, seeks to take claim of today to create a reality of tomorrow.
