What does Ice water have to do with ALS...? On a hot summer day, icy water may be refreshing, but those close to the disease say theres symbolism in the act of dumping cold water on ones head. Its that chilling effect of what it’s like to be frozen. Sufferers minds work but they are frozen in bodies that no longer function.
