What does it mean for someone to work on the frontiers Why do Jesuits, among others, continue to serve in war-torn areas? From INN: In the past year, two Jesuits were kidnapped and one was killed while living and working in the Middle East. Fr. Alexis Prem Kumar, SJ; Fr. Paolo DallOglio, SJ; and Fr. Frans van der Lugt, SJ; were missioned to this particular type of frontier and, like many, suffered because of their work as leaders. In this segment, Syrian Jesuit Tony Homsy, SJ—who knew the late Fr. Frans—reveals his own hopes and fears as he returns to his home country after a six year absence. We also hear from a Michael Linden, SJ, American Jesuit whos been in Amman, Jordan for years, and who argues a different perspective on what it means to be on the frontiers.
