What does it mean now that you are turning 9? It means that in 365 days your age will be represented by double digits! In 2,555 days you will be asking to borrow the keys to the car! In 2,920 days you will be starting school as a high school senior! In 3,285 days I will be helping you move into your dorm! (Hopefully not to far from home) Okay, I know my mommy heart is jumping into fast forward right now but every time I look at you, I see the little man that you are already becoming and it scares me to know that time is flying! Today, you my son turn nine and I want you to know that I am oh so happy to be your mommy. I need to say mommy, because of course these days you insist on calling me Mom. It’s your way of showing how you are growing up and becoming BIG. Although I act like it is not okay with me, it really is. I want you to grow up, and I want you to become the amazing man that I know you will. Deaglan I want you to know that I love you, will fight for you, and will always be here for you. Even when you go to college and fall in love and replace me with the girl of your dreams.
