What does it mean to Seek First the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness, Many of us can quote the Scripture, but how many of us truly have an understanding of what a kingdom actually is or how it functions or operates.....Dr Myles Munroe has taught us that within earthly kingdoms, we can learn more about the Heavenly kingdom as well. All kingdom have these things in place. (1) A King and Lord- Who is sovereign (2) A Territory- A domain in which the King rules over (3) A Constitution - which is a Royal Covernant (4) A Citizenry- community of subjects which make up the kingdom (5) Laws- which are acceptable principles which control the environment of the kingdom (6) Privileges - Rights and benefits that every citizen may qualify for and enjoy. (7) A code of ethics- acceptable lifestyle and conduct (8) An Army- which is the Security force in place which serves the community by providing protection (9) A common wealth- economic security-equal access to financial security, In other words wealth that should be Common among Each and every citizen within the Kingdom. (10) A Social Culture- learning the proper protocol and procedures of how we rule and reign as kings and priest within the territory and as a community of believers on one accord. So when the bible teaches you to Seek First the kingdom, and His righteousness, Now you have more of an understanding of what you should be seeking after to gain knowledge of.
