What does it say about the so-called right to a jury of ones - TopicsExpress

What does it say about the so-called right to a jury of ones peers who will decide if you are guilty or innocent when the court system makes the assessment that the pool of potential jurors reporting for jury duty will be entertained and appropriately engaged by watching The Price is Right on the tv monitors while the jurors wait, and wait, and wait for their turn to be selected for a potential case? Anyone engaged and stimulated by this show does not fall under my definition of a peer group. Couldnt they select something a tad more stimulating and educational....like maybe even the news? Maybe its their way of motivating people NOT to commit a crime as now they know they wont be guaranteed a jury of their peers! Hmm...something to think about!
