What ever happened to....Derrick Nix played college basketball at the Michigan State University. In his freshman year he made the 2010 NCAA Final Four. Nix had his best season with the Spartans in his senior year when he averaged 9.9 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.6 assists as Michigan State made NCAA Sweet 16. After completing four seasons at MSU, Derrick was undrafted in the 2013 NBA Draft. In August 2013, Derrick started professional career in Slovenia with Krka, but left the team in preseason. In October 2013, Nix joined Latvian powerhouse VEF Rīga.
