What ever you do, do not give your power to someone else, lose your voice to speak up for yourself or allow another person to tell you that you cant speak your truth. Sometimes we think that we should keep our mouth shut, not make waves, or hide our hurt and pain because speaking up could be more detrimental. I found myself in a situation yesterday which made me question what my next steps should be and yet I knew what the appropriate steps were. I found myself questioning what should be done out of fear, not out of what was right and standing up for what I believed in. We cant allow fear to silence us in the face of doing what is right. We cant allow other people to threaten our ability to exist without harm. Its our voice that allows us to be heard and that is not something that should ever be taken lightly. We need to speak our truth and never allow anyone else to stand in our way of doing so. Stand up for what you believe in and what you know to be true. It isnt always easy to do but fear can not be the reason you keep quiet. Its time to break down those barriers that cause us to lose our voice and follow the inner whispers which are guiding you along your journey. Be true to yourself and always Believe!
