This; More than 20 residents of Galimuyod town in Ilocos Sur province have fallen ill after eating the meat of a dog that showed signs of weakness for the last two weeks. One of the residents said the dog appeared to be weak in the last two weeks. They decided to kill it and eat it as pulutan. A doctor said there is a possibility microbes in the dog meat may have caused some of the residents to fall ill. The municipal health office will examine a sample of the meat. So far, 13 of those who fell ill were hospitalized in Candon City while eight are recovering at home.
