What has networks news media educated and perpetrated most in filipino consciousness past decades but the importance, greater emphasis on showbiz matters and personalities, fantasy and scandalous stories that perhaps the public eye is now the religious convert of tabloid thinking and immorality. The crooks in public office are indeed cant be but happier that so few of the people ask serious questions why the economy, why the government seem to have stolen or are still stealing from the people and nation, what happened with resources, what happened with national institutions? Indeed the mass media should be seen in effect as a national tool and medium of learning that must be cultivated more for positive individual growth and awareness. Sure the crooked will again justify that the fixed focus on garbage in Phl television is a democratic choice and facet of freedom?
