What have you contributed for your fellowmen? this may be seldom asked because all we see is the bad system corrupted government, wrong doings,etc but have you ever asked yourself what have i done so others wont experience what i witnessed? one scenario was this: i am sitting in a cafe waiting for a friend, i heard a group of people having coffee talking about the climate change. they see flood and garbage as problems and the government was not responding to the issue. Reflection: Did you see the street sweepers sweeping wastes along the streets everyday? Sweeping in the same area everyday? Sweeping same volume of garbage everyday? After the rehabilitation of esteros, still same volume of garbage are collected by trucks everyday. My point is for that two things i saw and perhaps you did too, did we care? did we tell other people that we should not litter? that we within ourselves can contribute a lot by not throwing little garbage everywhere.
