What if I told you that there were two days a week that we have no - TopicsExpress

What if I told you that there were two days a week that we have no need of worrying. What if I told you there were two days to be free of any fear or anxiety? Well there are two such days. One of them is YESTERDAY with all of its mistakes and cares, its faults and its blunders, aches and pains. Yesterday is gone from us forever and is beyond our control. We cannot bring back our yesterdays. We can never undo a single act that we performed, we cannot erase a word that was spoken and we cannot unthink our thoughts. Yesterday is gone from us forever. The other day that we need not ever worry about is TOMORROW! Tomorrow with all the possible adversities, burdens, its larger than life promise and its poor performance has not yet arrived. Tomorrow is beyond our direct control. Tomorrow, as it does each day, the sun will rise either in splendor worthy of a painting or behind the mask of the clouds but IT will rise, just the same. But until it does we have no stake in tomorrow for it is yet to be born. So what does this leave us? It leaves us each with TODAY! Today is the day that any person can fight the battles that need to be fought, laugh at the things that need laughing at, and cry at the things that need crying about and loving all that needs to be loved. It is when we all add the burdens of those days of YESTERDAY and TOMORROW that we weigh ourselves down and that is when we feel overwhelmed and lost. No, it is not the experience of today that drives us crazy. It is the remorse and the bitterness of something that happened YESTERDAY and the dread of what TOMORROW may bring. So, let us each rejoice in our moment of today and live in it. Tomorrow will be what will be just as what was is yesterday. It is up to each of us to live for our moments and to make the best of each of them, TODAY. Goodnight and God bless each of you and all of those to whom you are connected to or will ever be connected to!
