What in the name of all that is sacred is going on today?! [New Releases!] Today: Co-operative Game Night @ 6:30pm; X-Wing Tis the Season Tournament [$10] @ 7:30pm. Friday: Friday Night Magic Draft [$15] @ 7pm; EdCC Game Club @ 7pm. Huge new releases and some wonderful restocks today! The big one though? The Istanbul board game, winner of the German Complex Game of the Year for 2014. This is a deep worker-placement game where players act as merchants who move around the board to buy and sell goods, gain special abilities and increase their trading capacity. But every time they move, they must leave an assistant in the destination. No assistants left? No actions. Go back and pick them up! Hopefully you picked good spots originally.... The Kingdom Builder Big Box is also now here. Great game for all ages, winner of the German Game of the Year for 2012, and since it is the Big Box it contains all of the stuff that has ever been released for it. A great jumping off point (and gift) for gamers used to The Settlers of Catan! Then there are the restocks of Betrayal at House on the Hill. Only a few though, so get them before they are gone! And finally, we may as well note that our Magic: The Gathering Duel Deck Anthologies are here and will be available for purchase tomorrow. PERFECT for Christmas. Well do a feature on them Friday though.
