What is Buharis plan for the Almajiri class? What programme is he reeling out to integrate them to have a better life? There is no soceital or economic menace in the country today that is worse than the Almajiri herd. You cannot continue to shout you will fight corruption while keeping silent on a bigger cancer called Almajiri. The worst security issue we are facing today in Boko haram were a direct consequence of legalising Almajiri. The federal govt wastes billions of naira of its budget yearly to tackle insecurity caused by that herd. We are not talking about other distractions, both economic and otherwise caused by the same Almajiri-Boko haram herd. The issue is bigger and worse than corruption. The presense of Almajiri class is stymieing development in the North and other parts of the country as a result of the menace they pose today via Boko haram. Jonathan has done much to curb the Almajiri spread and rein them in. He has built hundreds of modern schools, modern equipments to educate and give them civility. He has fashioned out other programmes to engage them meaningfully, such as in Agriculture. Apart from the billions incurred as losses as a result of the herds security threats, the country has lost much in human capital. Thousands have died through their bombings, through their electoral violence, kidnappings and all manner of vices. The issue of Almajiri in the North is worse than corruption. Fight Almajiri societal menace you see before fighting corruption you did not see. If APC/Buhari type of CHANGE means replacing the current TRANSFORMATION programme of Goodluck Jonathan to integrate the Almajiri to make them better human being, then dont give me that CHANGE!
