What is Earth Hour?? Earth Hour is a global event organized by WWF (World Wildlife Fund) and is held on the last Saturday of March annually, asking households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights and other electrical appliances for ONE hour to raise awareness towards the need to take action on climate change. World landmarks that will also go dark: Times Square, the Eiffel Tower, Sydney Harbor Bridge, Golden Gate Bridge, Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro, the Colosseum in Rome... and so many more. I am joining this for the first time tonight. Thanks Sarah for enlightening (hahaha) me to this important event.
