What is Jellyfish Lake? In Palau, millions of resident - TopicsExpress

What is Jellyfish Lake? In Palau, millions of resident jellyfish reside in Jellyfish Lake. They have completely lost their sting because they have not had to fight off predators. Instead, they spend their days pulsating gently from one side of the lake to the other following the suns rays which are needed to survive. The jellyfish avoid the shaded lakeside and at the end of the day they reverse course back to the other side and await a new rising sun. The Palau Aggressor II and Tropic Dancer offer this as a snorkel on their weekly itinerary.
