What is faith? It is the opening of ones heart into another, receiving and accepting their word, following through their mainstream even with any understanding. And who is wicked in the eyes of God? It is that who does not ACCEPT ( emphasis mine) the word of God. Lets contextualize this: Matthew 5:48 tells us be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect. 1 Peter 1:16 reiterates this for it is written: Be holy, because I am holy. But then you have this thought flooding your mind, Romans 3:23 and for a moment you start to think that Christianity is a derelict concept that should be best left alone. You throw in the towel and become defensive with violence if one of those hopeful souls tries to instigate a bible discussion with you. All the while forgetting this very truth that BY YOUR EFFORTS YOU CANNOT!!!! ACTUALLY IT IS IMPOSSIBLE! I am ever thankful for Gods word that makes EVERYTHING possible. I can call myself righteous through God, Holy, Perfect and Sanctified. Why? Because I have the best of military discipline and incessant kindness? or maybe because I am too damn good that i have a habitat of flies because they know Carol cannot harm them? i used to conform to this belief until I met the true Gospel at Good News Mission and the power of the gospel (Romans 1:16) I have received that salvation and righteousness that comes from God. How so? Hebrew 10:10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ ONCE FOR ALL 14- for by one offering he hath PERFECTED FOR EVER them that are sanctified. Actually every Christian knows this undoudtedly but still struggle with their sin problem, struggling every dusk before sleep, crying that God forgive their sins, in the name of confession and repentance, unknowing of the truth clearly spelt out in Hebrews 10:11-12 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offfering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: BUT THIS MAN AFTER HE HAD OFFERED ONE SACRIFICE FOR SINS FOR EVER, SAT DOWN AT THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD. arguments will ensue from this and I will be grateful because I will get you to sharing with me this gospel of Christ which I am not ashamed of for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the jew first, and also to the Gentiles Romans 1:16.
