McCormic and Joseph Tiffin, “ Industrial Psychology is concerned with the study of human behavior in those aspects of life that are related to the production, distribution and use of the goods and services in our civilization. M. l. Blum and J. C. Naylor have defined industrial psychology as the application or extension of psychological facts and principles to the problem concerning human beings operating within the context of business and industry. Lastly, we can say that industrial psychology involves the application of the methods, facts and principles of the science of human behavior to people at work. Importance of Industrial Psychology Industrial Psychology has a lot of importance in the field of organization and workplaces to achieve the organizational goals. Some of them are given below: 1.
