What is it about the Ansett Family? I started in 1967 & left in 1972 (at the end of my apprenticeship) but they were some of the best years of my life. I made the big move from the country to the city and felt a bit apprehensive at first but after a while settled in and made some great friends, some of whom Im still in touch with to this day. I worked on small aircraft at home but there was no comparison to working on the large aircraft at Ansett. Ive probably had a dozen different jobs since Ansett including owning my owm business but those years at Ansett are still as fresh in my mind as yesterday.
