What is it you need to be ok? Many of us dont realise, but we create limitations to our happiness all the time. Do any of these ring a bell? Im ok if your ok Im ok as long as my partner isnt grumpy Im fine as long as Ive had my bath If I dont make the bed Ill be wound up all day I cant enjoy work as long as SHES there. All these things stop us from being OK and its our own doing! We have created little boxes where we can feel safe and when we are outside them, we arent ok. The truth is that we dont need anything to be a certain way in order to feel joy, happiness, love and just be OK! When we dissolve the walls of those boxes and get rid of the limitations we afford ourselves every opportunity to feel good, not just when we hit a golden scenario. Imagine how much more fulfilling and enjoyable life is when you allow yourself to be OK all the time! Yes it can take work, especially if you have spent your whole life behaving in certain patterns and building those boxes, so start by addressing some of the smaller things and adding affirmations like: What will happen if I dont make the bed? Nothing, ok so ... Im going to be happy all day and Im ok with how the bed is. Does the woman at work actually ruin my day? How much contact do we have? Ok Im going to be deliberately and authentically nice to her when we do come into contact and I realise that she has no power over how I feel. I choose to have a great day at work! So remember, you can be OK all the time, you have the power! No one else controls how you feel, you get to choose! Awesome huh! So what things do you need to be OK?
