What is the USA interest in this really? If it was dying children we would have bombed Africa by now. Maybe it is the middle east natural gas pipeline to Europe? Right now they get 75% of their energy from Russia. This would break that monopoly. Any wonder why Russia is backing the Syrian government? As long as Assad is in control no pipe line. Gotta wonder why France is all go on attacking Syria too. We really have to wonder how closely we are tied to the Saudi Royal Family and the interests of the Arabic energy producing countries instead of the true USA interests.
