What is the best way to apply Urban Decay shadow primer/MAC painterly (yes specifically painterly, I dont have trouble with any other one) as a primer on clients eye lids? When you apply UD primer with a brush, it tends to stick to dry skin, accentuating it and just looking dry, uneven and weird, yet when I rub it into the back of my hand it rubs in perfectly. Ive started using my fingers to blend it in a bit and that helps A LOT but i dont feel very comfortable doing this. Does anyone else have this problem? I also tried a beauty blender with the same dry uneven result as the brush.
