What is the concept of State given in Quraan? Is the group of believers more important than a state or a state more important? Why Bani Israeel as a nation was brought out of the State and then asked to form another State that shall belong to the Believers by conquering Philistines? Even when Muhammad saw was appointed as the Prophet of Allah there existed a kind of a State comprising various tribes/ nations .. and their leaders were also asking the same question as to why the Prophet saw was dividing them and instead carving out a new nation on the basis of a set of Belief. When there are serious differences on the basis of beliefs, how do we resolve them, by uniting as Meccans did against the Prophet saw or by forming alliances with different nations (of different beliefs) as was done through Meesaaq e Medina? Was Meesaaq e Medina and then later "Sulah e Hudaibiah" enacted keeping the interests of the Believers or in the interest of other nations living in Medina (ie State)? I would appreciate if more citations are provided from Quraan than your "out of box" closets.
