What is the correct way to install all 4 blinkers to led on a fzr 600 1996. Currently, all 4 of the new leds will just come on dim. I have a resistance problem. So, in the rear blinkers I installed 2 additional oem blinker bulbs inline with the leds. This causes all of my blinkers to work properly but does not solve my real problem. I have looked into installing inline resistors, but if I do that I will still be drawing the same amount of charge off the battery, thus what is the point of installing resistors when I can just install inline oem bulbs with the same effect. I have herd to change he flasher relay. Use a 2 or 3 pin relay like the yzf....well on the fzr 600 1996 it is not a 2 or 3 pin flasher relay. It is a 5 pin set up. I can not finf a lead flasher to fit my bike. I have narrowed down the flasher wires in the 5 pin plug. The 2 wires are brown and a white/brown wire. I went to napa and bought a 2 pin flasher relay and wired it into those 2 wires off of the stock 5 pin connecter and I had mixed results. The flasher rate was now correct. However, I still had to have those 2 extra bulbs inline with he rear leads for the system to work properly. So, again, that did not fix my problem. What do I need to do so I can just run 4 led blinkers the correct way? What is the secret?
