What is the diagnosis? A 2 year old boy has a history of itchy vesicles and pustules affecting his hands and feet. He had been seen the previous summer at the GP surgery when he had presented with an itchy rash with pustules and vesicles affecting his hands and feet. Scabies had been excluded. The rash had responded to topical steroid treatment and had been relatively asymptomatic over the winter months. However since the start of the summer months the rash had flared up. What is the diagnosis; what is the natural history of this condition?
