What is the measure of success? Is it from: bike to BMW? Backyard dweller to mansion? Small salary to large salary? Average clothes to designer wear? Preaching to a small congregation to preaching on TV? Or is it the fruits of the Spirit. Victory over sin. A blessed ministry. A joyfull life. If it is the latter, why do they preach the former as guage to success? When God said He wants you to be prosperous, His intent was not just tangible blessings but all of Him. So when next you hear someone preaching about success and only carnal blessings are mentioned, know that the preacher only has that in his heart and is deceived.
