What is this crap about so many wanting to punish people today for the perceived crimes of our ancestors? Yes, people came to what is now North America and started wars with the tribes. Yes, that happened. Yes, much of the property that now makes up the United States of American was bartered, traded for and bought, but a lot of it was taken as the spoils of war. Yes, there was a dark period in the history of what became The United States of America when Africans were bought and sold as slaves. Yes, that was a horrendous thing to do. Guess what. The tribes did not see each other as a homogenous race or ethnicity. They had their wars too. They took the spoils of war also, including land. They committed horrendous acts against enemy tribes. It happened. Some tribes even fought along side the White folks. Why? Because the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Guess what. The ONLY reason there was a market for Africans to be shipped around the world was they were sold into slavery by other Africans. While we seem to lump all Africans together, they never have. When people of different African tribes and nations battled against each other, they took prisoners. The concept of POW camps was unheard of then. What they did was sell the prisoners into slavery. So, you can sit on your racist butt and blame people living today for the land that was stolen from the Tribes. You can even sit there demanding that we give it all back. But are you demanding the tribes give the land they took back to the tribe they stole it from? Are you demanding the people of one tribe living today make restitution to the tribes their ancestors harmed? In all your blathering on and on about reparations and 40 acres and mule, are you including the Africans who sold their prisoner into slavery in the first place? Should we be tracing the lines of slavery back, to find out which nations had the most slaves offered to the market, so we can exact the biggest pound of flesh from them? I am convinced that some of you bigots wont be happy until what happened to the Tribes happens to the United States today. In your hatred for all things White (and yes, I am including self loathing White folks), you actually hope that history repeats itself. If that is what you hope for, you can quit acting like you are the least bit humane, or even care about people. There are few things more atrocious than punishing people for the sins of the forefathers. You dont even give a crap if we do have such crimes in our actual ancestry. You would actually punish a child because of something that happened centuries before they were born? If you would celebrate this kind of sick, twisted and inhuman crap, you can quit pointing your fingers at the KKK because the only difference between you and them is the target of your bigoted hatred. Guess what, you are not owed crap for what happened before you were born, so get off your lazy, good for nothing butt and create something that you can pass along to your posterity other than this cycle of stupidity!
