What is true love? Is it the overwhelming feeling of finally being woken up? Like everything you’ve ever been through is finally worth it because you’re in this moment now, with someone who you can’t possibly imagine ever not being there.. is it feeling like no one else matters who you thought did because every aspect of the people in your life that you love all are now in this one person? is it feeling happiness even though at times you’re supposed to feel sad? Because thats not always what love is, sometimes love can enrapture the feeling of sadness even loneliness, jealousy, anger, hate… it can make you become a person you may not like or even recognise you can lose yourself so much because of this one emotion, i think thats scary. So why stay? why even fall in love? Does the whole ‘notebook’ scale of love exist? the everyday smiles and rainbows, i don’t think it does. I think love is raw, true emotion… making mistakes, discovering who you are.. feeling every single emotion you possibly can, and every single day it makes you feel more alive because you’re feelings things and doing things you didn’t even think possible and while sometimes it may still hurt and you will doubt yourself you stay, because you’ve been woken up, you feel, you live. Personally i would prefer the type of love which makes you try, which makes you want to be better. Not this wish wash shit of a happily ever after because thats what keeps you going, wanting to be better.. being better.
