What is wrong with the world today? On my way home this evening, I noticed an elderly man desperately trying to pick his wife up off the ground. I immediately pulled over,and ran to his aid. Unfortunately she didnt see the curb and fell face first into the sidewalk,breaking her glasses and ended up with a huge gash above her eye. I picked her up,..walked her to her house,and helped her into the house. Her husband was extremely grateful and me being me,well I cant accept thanks for this good deed,to me its just natural to help a human being in need. The part that makes me sick to my stomach though is the fact that there were 3 cars in front of me,and No one stopped. WTF!!!... Are we really at this point in life.?? Are we in such a rush,that we cant stop to help someone in need. Have we become so self absorbed that we cant be bothered to care? Im really bothered by this,..Anyone have any thoughts on the subject?
